Stefan Dräger appointed Executive Board Chairman
Stefan Dräger, 42, has been appointed Vice Chairman of the Executive Board with effect from 1 March, and Chairman of the Executive Board with effect from 1 July 2005. Succeeding Theo Dräger, 67, who has served the company since 1967 and held the position since 1997, Stefan Dräger will be the fifth generation of his family to take up the position of Chairman of the Executive Board.

Decision in favour of Lübeck
Drägerwerk AG decides that the headquarters and production facilities of the Dräger Medical subgroup will remain in Lübeck. An agreement was reached with the employees on concerning a package of essential measures to make working hours more flexible and increase productivity.

Top Ten IT Executives
Thomas Holzgreve has been named by the German weekly computer COMPUTERWOCHE one of Germany's top ten IT executives. 'With a wide-ranging supply chain management project he initiated a paradigm change at Dräger Safety. Greater transparency and quick processes resulted in lower process and inventory costs.
