| Lübeck, 20.12.07 - Dr. Volker Pfahlert, Chairman of the Medical division of Drägerwerk AG & Co. KGaA, has decided to leave the Company at the end of the year to take up a new professional challenge. The Shareholder Committee of Dräger Medical AG & Co. KG, comprising representatives of Siemens AG and Drägerwerk AG & Co. KGaA, and the Supervisory Boards of Dräger Medical Verwaltungs AG and Drägerwerk Verwaltungs AG have approved the decision, thanking Dr. Pfahlert for his outstanding work and wishing him all the best for the future. Stefan Dräger, the CEO of Drägerwerk Verwaltungs AG, will provisionally take over as Chairman of the Medical division.
