| At the application of the Executive Board Chairman and the Steering Committee of the Supervisory Board of Drägerwerk AG, it is to be proposed to the company‘s Supervisory Board that Mr Stefan Dräger be appointed a member of the Drägerwerk AG Executive Board with effect from 1 November 2002. |

| Stefan Dräger (39) has occupied executive positions within the Dräger Group for 10 years, both in Germany and abroad. In the past three years, Mr Dräger has been responsible for Dräger Medical‘s Intensive Care business unit, which has developed extremely successfully under his management and has now become the global leader in the market for ventilators.
In his new position, Mr Dräger will assume responsibility for Central Corporate Functions: Basic Development, Corporate Audits and Standards, and the Group‘s IT arm, Dräger Synematic. |
