Lübeck - With effect from September 1, 2002, Roland Jaksch (48) has been appointed as new Executive Board member of Dräger Medical Verwaltungs AG by the company‘s Supervisory Board and as such will be assuming responsibility for general management and controlling of Dräger Medical.
Jaksch was previously employed by Siemens AG, where his most recent position was head of general management and controlling of the Medical Solutions Ultrasound Division and Acuson in Mountain View, California.
Dräger Medical is the largest subgroup of the Dräger Group with a workforce of some 4,800 and sales of EUR 805 million in fiscal 2001. Dr. Wolfgang Reim is Executive Board Chairman at Dräger Medical, Lübeck.
