AutoFlow™ 20 Questions - 20 Answers
A book which addresses the many aspects of the ability to breathe spontaneously with AutoFlow™ during volume controlled ventilation on the Evita 2 dura and Evita 4. (Order-No. 90 97 451) 下栽 (PDF, 231 KB)
ATC and PPS Breathing Support with Optimum Patient Comfort
The automatic tube compensation is a new addition for all existing ventilation modes. Today proportional pressure support offers the results of even further innovation, where at every point the breath delivered by the ventilator is proportional to the breathing effort of the patient.

New forms of assisted spontaneous breathing
Mechanical ventilation is the most important life-support procedure in modern intensive care medicine, though it can, especially as its invasiveness increases, cause serious side effects. One way out of this dilemma is assisted spontaneous breathing: rather than suppressing spontaneous breathing in a patient with respiratory failure and replacing it completely with mechanical ventilation, the aim here is to maintain and mechanically support the patient's own breathing.
