Smart accessories can be instrumental to improving efficiency. The Drägersorb® CLIC Adapter is a classic example because it reduces handling of soda lime.
The CLIC Adapter facilitates attachment of the disposable absorber to the anesthesia workstation. No irritating dust is emitted when changing the absorber, which is better for patients, personnel and high-tech anesthesia systems. Because it can be changed in seconds, even during an operation, the absorber can be used right up to the point where its absorption capacity is exhausted. A CO2 bypass ensures the system remains closed during removal and the adapter’s tight fit prevents any hidden leakage.
