the Infinity patient monitoring system.
The Bispectral Index® (BIS), a processed
EEG parameter, indicates the effects of sedation on the brain, allowing clinicians
to deliver anesthesia with more precision and assess and respond to a patient’s
changing condition during anesthesia. Incorporating the extended platform (XP)
technology from Aspect Medical Systems, the Infinity BISx pod provides sustained,
reliable BIS measurement in the OR, ICU and other clinical settings.
