The Infinity® Trident™ NMT pod monitors the level of muscle relaxation in adult and pediatric patients under the influence of neuromuscular blocking agents.
These parameters provide an objective indication of neuromuscular transmission (NMT) by using an electrical stimulus – enabling you to make an evidence-based judgment about the state of your patients’ neuromuscular blockade. NMT data is valuable before, during and after anesthesia in the operating room, and also when mechanical ventilation is used in the intensive care unit. NMT modes include Single Twitch, Train-of-Four, and Post-Tetanic Count.
Data acquired through the Trident pod is displayed on Infinity modular monitors and transmitted over the Infinity Network to your hospital information system.
