If you are exposed to substances hazardous to your health at your place, your employer has a responsibilty to provide you with suitable respiratory protective devices. Their limitations and use are specified in the operating instructions and additional training is usually provided. For your own sake, be sure to observe these instructions and use the respiratory protective devices accordingly.

Notify your supervisor if, for example, unsafe circumstances arise near where you are or if the device is not properly fitted. In addition, the condition of your health should make it possible to wear respiratory protection devices. Occupational medical examinations are carried out for this purpose.
