Fit Testing
Fit testing. Better safe than sorry.
Equipment in perfect working order is in itself no guarantee for safe respiratory protection. Only if the mask and user properly match can the maximum degree of protection be achieved.
Regular fit tests are carried out in the US, UK and some other European countries.

One of the most effective protective measures is carefully checking to determine if your facepiece fits on your face well. For this check we distinguish between a daily inward leakage check you do yourself as positive or negative pressure test and the fit test required, for example, by NIOSH (National Institute for Occupational Safety & Health) in the U.S. or the HSE (Health & Safety Executive) in England.
You will find more information on the fit testing rules for the U.S. and England here.

Although German lawmakers have not required fit testing up until now, we are already providing information about methods which are recognized by statutory regulations in other countries (such as in the US).
Continue to fit testing.

Before each use you should briefly check your facepiece for proper sealing.
