| The PSS® Merlin™ is a fully automatic, electronic Entry Control System incorporating control board, the DrägerMan Bodyguard® II and a portable radio unit. The system allows the the exact status of up to 12 team members to be monitored simultaneously from outside the incident.

| The system provides 3 key features:

- 1) Continuous transmission of pressure, time to whistle and temperature
- 2) ADSU (PASS) alarm signal and manual distress signal, differentiated by different lamps on the control board.
- 3) Group and individual evacuation commands, supported by a voluntary withdrawal facility.
