Confined Space: Using Dräger Tubes and CMS
There´s a certain smell but your electronic portable gas detector does not show anything abnormal. You heard of the renowned Dräger tubes that can measure about 500 different gases. In most cases they can help. Or you use the CMS (Dräger Chip Measurement System) which provides an automatic electronic read out of the gas level.
Both methods provide a spot measurement of the concentration of the target gas or vapour so that it can be determined what further action needs to be taken to prepare the confined space for entry.
