Employee Exposure Monitoring with Portables
All industrialized nations have legislation to protect workers from exposure to toxic gases and vapors. These laws are typically written around instantaneous, short-term, 8-hour and / or 40-hour exposures to these chemicals. Therefore, it is necessary for health and safety professionals to monitor the concentrations over a period of time to calculate the total dosage a worker may be exposed to.
The Dräger gas monitors include internal data loggers. These allow you record the exposures on a real time basis over a few hours or up to a few weeks. Download this information to a computer and analyze it. Dräger software helps you display this data in graphical or tabular formats. Call up stored files, by worker name, ID number, date, gas measured or other parameters with the included database search engine.
