Thermal imaging cameras
By use of the sensor technology of a thermal imaging camera (TIC) the heat radiation of humans or object becomes visible and is displayed on the TIC's screen. Primarily developed for personal rescue in emergency situations, thermal imaging cameras prevail in object or area monitoring. The big advantage is that persons can be localized precisely highly detailed - independent from surrounding conditions like smoke, darkness, rain, or snow. Where normal cameras or night-vision glasses fail thermal imaging cameras deliver clear pictures.
Wether monitoring a harbour facility, fighting fire, rescuing persons, or localizing stowaways in the storage area - applications for thermal imaging cameras are almost endless.
