Primarily developed for personal rescue in emergency situations, thermal imaging cameras prevail in object or area monitoring.
The big advantage is that persons can be localized precisely highly detailed - independent from surrounding conditions like smoke, darkness, rain, or snow. Where normal cameras or night-vision glasses fail thermal imaging cameras deliver clear pictures.
