Participants are taught how to implement the German Hazardous Substances Ordinance. Taking into account the currently valid German Technical Regulations for the Handling of Hazardous Substances (TRGS), participants are taught about ways to protect staff.

The seminar is targeted towards people who deal during their work with hazardous substances, e.g. managers, master craftsmen, trainers, works councils and skilled workers. Safety regulations have to be implemented and monitored in compliance with legal regulations.

The common features and contents of the German Hazardous Substances Ordinance and TRGS are explained. Bearing the TRGS in mind, a practical concept is worked out to identify and assess hazards posed by harmful substances at the workplace. How to acquire basic knowledge and procedures to be followed when compiling lists of hazardous substances and operating instructions are explained by way of practical examples. Information is provided about how to carry out and document staff instruction. The concentrations of hazardous substances in the ambient air at workplaces are determined and assessed with the aid of workplace analyses and procedures to assess the concentrations of hazardous work substances.

Payment upon receipt of invoice.
Participants must register in writing at least one week before the start of the seminar. If a participant cancels after this time, Dräger Safety AG & Co. KGaA charges half the participant fee if no alternative participant can be found.
