Leaders in their field: our Managers
Our main priority is discovering the particular strengths of an employee, helping our Managers to develop new ideas and forming their own management style. We seek feedback via a Global employee Survey worldwide every two years to honestly evaluate the performance of our Managers based on our core values. Such feedback helps us to foster an environment of continual improvement.
The Dräger LEAD mission statement encompasses all the values that the Company believes are required to make an excellent Manager. The LEAD mission statement reflects our high quality expectations that all Managers should aspire to. LEAD stands for “Leadership Excellence At Dräger” and encompasses the five core competencies: Role Model, Focus, Drive, Passion and Guide. These five core competencies are the standard and benchmark we use to assess the performance of our Mangers - worldwide.
On the trail of the everyday adventure
Teamwork is an integral part of the Dräger Corporate culture. Not only is this important to the Company but also our employees and this is shown repeatedly in our Global Employee Surveys. Teamwork within Dräger translates into working in environment, on a daily basis, that is friendly and where cooperation exists within a trusting atmosphere. Cooperation normally takes place within the working environment as part of a project team or as an essential link in an internal process. This usually involves employees from different departments, functions and even countries working hand in hand to achieve a common goal. Dräger encourages employees to grow and has developed activities outside the normal working environment to challenge employees to develop their teamwork skills in environments outside their normal comfort zone. Dräger have therefore developed the Wilderness Experience which takes place in Scandinavia.
