Hear what the experts said about productivity

William Bullock

"If employees have their minds on other things and are concerned in any way about their safety, it affects their productivity. When we engineer the hazards out that cause employees’ concern, they feel more comfortable and productivity goes up."

Victor D'Amato

"The management perspective is, if we can improve our safety metrics, we could improve our productivity metrics and improve our quality. And from the employee standpoint, obviously folks want to go home at the end of the day the same way they came to work."

John Henshaw

"If you have a safe environment where risk has been minimized to the greatest extent possible, then you have fertile ground for people being innovative, creative, and motivated, feeling part of the team and anxious to participate. That, I think, will translate into higher productivity."

The X-zone® 5000 Solution

Dräger Safety Inc.

X-zones connect to one another remotely with a radio frequency of 915 megahertz and broadcast a 120-decibel alarm to be heard even when workers are out of lines of sight. This allows workers who once had to remain on standby during confined space monitoring to be redeployed to where they can be more productive.

X-zone can also operate external equipment. It can be set up to automatically close a gate or trigger another alarm system, making fewer things for workers to worry about.
