Realistic fire simulation
During the training in the fire container fire fighters are confronted
with real flames, extreme heat, high humidity, severely restricted
visibility and thick smoke. This allows them to train for an emergency
as realistically as possible.
Dräger's Containerized Live Fire Training Systems basically consist of
40’ x 8’ x 8.5’ sea container meeting IICL5 Inspection Criteria, which
has been substantially modified and insulated to accommodate one fire
Multi-container structures are possible.
Safe training conditions
In spite of extreme heat an outstanding safety level can be secured.
Redundant safety devices for gas and temperature monitoring in
accordance with relevant NFPA and CSA codes and guidelines control the
conditions in fire room. If defined limits are exceeded or the emergency
cut-off switch is operated, the system is automatically switched off
and placed into a safe condition involving forced ventilation.
Variable training options
The Containerized Live Fire Training System offers a multitude
of training scenarios, each with a different learning focus. Basic
behavioral patterns can be taught as well as the tactics of deployment
and extinguishing action. The training in the fire container also trains
the fire fighters how to handle heat in fire environments.
