Keeping offenders from becoming repeat offenders

One car accident can have catastrophic consequences. So it is critical to prevent those convicted of a DUI or DUID from becoming repeat offenders. Often, this can be done without license revocation or jail by requiring drivers to install an ignition interlock device (IID) in their vehicle.

At Dräger, we believe the technology should ensure compliance and make it easier to follow offenders through the probation process. It should be extremely accurate and exceed state requirements for determining whether the driver's breath alcohol concentration is above the state's established limit. It should be simple to learn, easy to operate, and protect against user tampering. It should also ease the workload for overtasked probation officers—not add to it.

As the pioneer of this technology, Dräger does all this, providing data that is accurate—and intuitively simple to interpret. As a reliable partner, Dräger has trained Reporting Specialists—a liaison between the agent and service center—to provide whatever level of assistance that you need.

Ultimately, Dräger technology and support can help save lives while reducing the burden of administration.
