Dräger ESS II

If hazardous gases are present in the ambient air, the Dräger fresh air system will provide the occupants in the sealed cabin of your security vehicle with breathing air within seconds. At the same time the system generates positive pressure in the cabin preventing tear gas or other harmful particulates and gaseous substances from penetrating into the vehicle‘s interior.

Easy handling

The fresh air system ESS II is fixed installed in the vehicle and is connected via a push button switch triggered from the driver for example. After activation the content of the bottle, breathing air, enters into the vehicle interior. The air is supplied via a hose at a defined point in the vehicle. The air delivery capacity is fixed at approx. 800 l/min.

Overpressure build up in seconds

Due to the electrical release of the valve, the air flows with maximum delivery in the interior in seconds and builds up an overpressure in the vehicle. This prevents that harmful substances can enter the car through smallest openings.

Easy installation

The ESS II can be installed in the vehicle without special devices. The optional hose package is adjusted to the required length and connected to the system via a hose clamp. The connector for the signal release and the air supply to the interior are quickly installed.
