The X‑plore 8500 system reliably filters particles and gaseous particles from the breathing air.
The extensive portfolio of filter types offers effective protection against a variety of respiratory risks and hazardous substances, including particles, aerosols, vapours and gases.
Challenging tasks such as industrial maintenance often require combined respiratory and head protection. The X-plore 8500 can be paired with a range of helmets featuring different seal lengths.
During pharmaceutical production workers can be exposed to different hazards like infectious agents. A hood in combination with the X-plore 8500 is a common respiratory protection solution that offers a high level of comfort.
The X-plore 8500 PAPR system is compatible with two different versions of welding visors. Welding and grinding works can involve significant respiratory hazards due to the generation of fumes, gases, and airborne particles.
The X-plore 8500 PAPR system is also suitable for applications that require the use of tight-fitting headpieces like the X-plore 5500 full-face mask.
For applications requiring high chemical resistance, combining the X-plore 8500 with a bump cap or helmet and a hood that covers the headpiece may be the optimal choice.

The Dräger X-plore 8000 charging system can charge a flat battery in less than four hours. The battery will be at least 80% charged after two hours. In addition to the Standard Charger, a Multi-Unit Charger is offered. You can connect up to five modules in order to load batteries in parallel.
