For hospitals that prefer to have their biomedical engineers handle preventive maintenance and repair of their BiliLux and Radiometer devices, Dräger offers online technical training. The training takes approximately 1 hour to complete and is followed by a short test. Upon successful completion of the course and test, the student receives a certificate from Dräger. A ServiceConnect^® license is a prerequisite for the technical training course.

Please note that the Radiometer requires specialized service and will need to be sent to Dräger for calibration every 2 years, even if the hospital biomedical engineer has completed the online technical training.
