Status information about your induction and operating rooms

​OR Companion helps you with workflows for the management and readiness of your operating rooms. The software provides you with an overview of the status information of all networked anesthesia devices of the Perseus® A500 and Atlan® product families.

  • Dashboard overview of all induction and operating rooms of your clinic and the equipped anaesthesia equipment per room.
  • Every single anesthesia machine is displayed as online, offline or in use.
  • Check runtime in all operating rooms using real-time data.

System test information via self-test tracker (software option)

​Adherence to recommendations for daily system testing increases patient safety by putting the devices in a safe operating state and avoiding complications during anesthesia.[1],[2] The centralized overview of the system test results using the Self-Test Tracker serves to confirm that all system tests were successful and that the procedures can be performed safely and accurately according to the surgical plan.

The Self-Test Tracker function minimizes downtime and allows safe operation of the anesthesia machines.

Automate key steps of system testing: With the special Auto On function of our Perseus® A500 and Atlan® product families, the system tests can be initiated automatically at a predetermined time and are already completed when the employees arrive in the OR department in the morning. With a glance at the self-test tracker – regardless of location in the clinic – the employees are informed about the operational readiness of the anesthesia machines and can immediately concentrate on solving the problem in case of complications.

Enables quick troubleshooting for reduced downtime: Operating theatres make a major contribution to the financial success of a clinic, and downtime – for example due to non-operational equipment – leads to financial losses.[3] If the system test of an anesthesia machine is not successfully completed, Self-Test Tracker serves as an assistance system that immediately provides employees with error data and suggestions for problem solving.

Supports safe operation: Gas leakage values are displayed for each anesthesia device to document the safe operation of a device.

Enhanced fleet management capabilities: The software provides data on runtimes and system test history of a connected anesthesia machine, thus increasing transparency regarding device performance.

*Auto On is only available for Atlan family devices with software version 2.0 or later.

Adaptable to your individual requirements

​Surgical departments differ from clinic to clinic. The OR Companion dashboard can be customized to display all operating rooms and induction rooms with their individual names and all assigned anesthesia machines – with their names or serial numbers.

High level of data security

​The Dräger Connect® cloud solution focuses on security and data protection. Device data is transmitted, collected and evaluated. The data is transferred securely from the ServiceConnect® Gateway installed in the hospital network via a secure VPN tunnel to the Microsoft Azure cloud storage. Authorized users can access Dräger Connect applications from desktop PCs or mobile devices via a secure connection to the cloud server.
