Defined processes and best practices
The Professional Services team works according to well defined processes and best practices. Our experience has shown that this method maximizes the clinical value of the monitoring and IT solution and minimizes disruption to patients and clinical staff.
Our method includes working with your clinical and IT staff to understand current equipment and processes, and performing a clinical site survey to identify strategic business and clinical objectives. We also identify potential workflow and process improvements. This process enables us to define the best Dräger solutions to meet your current and future objectives.
Customer focused implementation
To customize the solution to your specific needs, we focus on your hospital’s critical success factors and engage your staff in all phases of the project. A key example of our customer focused implementation is our “sandbox” concept, a hands-on forum that allows your clinicians to work with the devices in your environment and explore different configurations to determine the best solution for your hospital’s specific needs.
Workflow analysis and optimization
Workflow optimization can help you improve quality initiatives such as patient safety, length of stay, staff and patient satisfaction, infection control and more. We provide workflow analysis, gap analysis, alarms analysis, and present-to-future state analysis. We develop a configuration to optimize clinical workflow and enhance patient care. Finally, we manage the implementation plan from start to finish for workflow optimization. We also document customer impact relative to time savings, quality improvements, and cost savings.
Knowledge transfer
To ease the transition to the new patient monitoring system, Professional Services includes a carefully planned training program whereby we transfer in-depth knowledge of the new monitoring and IT system to super users at your hospital. Once that knowledge is mastered by the super users, they in turn train the staff. In this way, your staff has optimal use of the new system from day one.
