Comprehensive process visualization
The SmartPilot® View uses patient modeling to generate time- and concentration-based pharmacokinetic / pharmacodynamic information. In doing so, it helps you anticipate the level of anesthesia to be expected following the administration of a given dose of anesthetic agents.
Process optimization
The SmartPilot View addresses the main challenges of the anesthesia process by helping you to perform smooth induction, maintain adequate anesthesia levels. The goal of the development of the SmartPilot View is to support the user by decisively reducing the gap between titration and effect thus facilitating anesthesia objectives like a well-timed patient wake-up and optimized pain management. This may improve efficiency in the operating room.
Designed for Dräger workstations
In conjunction with Primus IE, Perseus A500 and Zeus IE workstations, the SmartPilot View calculates anesthesia levels following drug administration and shows prospective anesthesia levels based on these calculations. When used in conjunction with the Zeus IE, the prospective effect calculation (what if?) function is activated as soon as you adjust fresh gas, ventilation or anesthetic agent drug settings.
Extensive medical knowledge database
The SmartPilot View features an integrated database of pharmacokinetics and drug interactions. Now, the anesthesiologist can have instant and automatic access to this knowledge base at a glance via its visualization on the SmartPilot View.
Advanced educational and training tool
The SmartPilot Trainer* effectively supports your training and teaching efforts, allowing you to simulate the effects of various anaesthesia regimes and their visualization on the SmartPilot View outside the OR. Real cases recorded with a SmartPilot View can be run on the simulator for postoperative review and analysis of typical or even critical situations.
