The Dräger X-plore® 8000 system: Designed for compatibility
For tough conditions, the Dräger X-plore 8000 system provides respiratory protection low resistance. Depending on the system configuration, it can also offer protection for the head, face eyes, and ears.
The X-plore 8500 can be combined with a headpiece such as an X-plore 8000 helmet, visor, hood or X-plore mask. The system can be configured to fit a variety of applications.
Dräger X-plore 8000 helmets: Tough on the job
Robust and versatile, with a modern design: X-plore 8000 helmets are made for use in the harsh environment of day-to-day industrial operations. The helment provides protection for head, face and eyes. Face seals are available in different lengths and materials.
In applications where chemical protection is required, Dräger offers helmet or bump cap with hoods in chemical environments. The helmet and bump cap provides a platform and stability for the hood.
Easy and comfortable
The helmet and breathing unit can be easily and intuitively connected to the hose. The helmet can be adjusted for fit and second the direction of the breathing air outlet near the forehead can be adjusted. In addition, the padding on the forehead and head ensure maximum comfort. The structure of the helmet allows for even weight distribution.
For optimal vision on the job, the helmet is fitted with a panoramic visor which has an anti-fog and anti-scratch coating. Helmet and bump cap can be combined with hearing protection.

Dräger X-plore 8000 helmet with visor
The helmet with visor can be combined with five different face seals: Zytec® and Tychem® material in short (Zytec® only), medium or long seals.
Dräger X-plore 8000 helmet/bump cap and hood combination
The helmet and bump cap are combined with hoods. The Tychem® material used for the hood, provides protection in environments that require protection against chemicals. The hoods are available in Tychem® 2000 and Tychem®4000 material. The Tychem® 4000 provides a higher level of protection. Refer to permeation data sheets for selection of hoods.
