The X-plore 8700 is specially designed for work areas that require explosion protection and features dedicated ATEX safety functions accordingly.
The extensive filter portfolio offers effective protection against a wide range of respiratory risks and hazardous substances such as particles, aerosols, vapours and gases.
In laboratory environments, such as in the pharmaceutical industry, hazardous substances such as gases, vapours or dusts can occur that are potentially explosive.
For optimised weight distribution, the belt carrying system for the X-plore 8700 can be connected to a shoulder carrying system. A device cover can also be used to protect the blower unit from contamination.
In paint shops, a potentially explosive atmosphere must always be expected, as liquid coating materials can be flammable in the air in a finely dispersed state. If head protection is not mandatory, the combination of the X-plore 8700 with our face shield is a good choice.
Oil and gas are extracted, transported, stored and processed under the harshest conditions. In these challenging environments, the X-plore 8700 in combination with one of our helmet variants ensures optimum safety.
When working in explosive environments with hazardous materials like in the chemical industry, a variety of substances can pose a health hazard. The combination of the X-plore 8700 and a tight-fitting headpiece like the X-plore 6300 full-face mask is a suitable solution.

Dräger X-plore 8000 breathing hoses securely connect X-plore 8000 powered air systems and the X-plore 9300 airline system to compatible headpieces. Dräger offers hoses for both tight-fitting headpieces like half or full-face masks and loose-fitting options like helmets or hoods, for which flexible and robust versions are also available.

Dräger X-plore 8000 Carrying Systems
Three hip carrying options are available for the Dräger X-plore 8000 system: a standard textile belt, a decontaminable belt (each with an optional belt extension) and a heat-resistant leather version. We also offer a backpack carrying system as an alternative carrying option.
Dräger X-plore 8000 Charger
Dräger X-plore 8000 Charger
The Dräger X-plore 8000 charging system can charge a flat battery in less than four hours. The battery will be at least 80% charged after two hours. In addition to the Standard Charger, a Multi-Unit Charger is offered. You can connect up to five modules in order to load batteries in parallel.
