Why Draeger?Play video

Advancing the clinical workplace can help improve patient outcomes

At the Dräger Design Center, hospitals can bring their vision of a new OR, ICU, or neonatal care area to life – before they build it. Dräger starts by meeting with the hospital team to capture its goals for the new space. While every design is different, all are based on more than a century of experience in improving critical care.

Dräger’s 3D modeling tool lets the hospital explore different approaches and visualize each idea. Unit designs address today's best practices and key initiatives – such as reducing infection, streamlining workflow, and increasing the satisfaction of patients, family and staff.

Once the hospital is happy with the design on paper, Dräger puts the critical care equipment in place so the team can physically experience the new layout and make final modifications. By eliminating risks and surprises, hospitals can save time and money in creating an ideal environment for delivering optimal care. The result is a flexible design that meets the hospital’s needs – both now and in the future.
