PAPR—

The X‑plore 8500 powered air-purifying respirator delivers uncompromising respiratory protection against particles, gases, and vapors while ensuring high wearing comfort with no breathing resistance. Benefit from versatile combination options with the X‑plore 8000 NIOSH filter portfolio, a wide range of headpieces, carrying systems, and other system components.

The NIOSH-approved X-plore 8700 blower filter system is the ideal companion for working in potentially explosive atmospheres. Thanks to its ATEX and IECEx certifications and dedicated safety functions, this PAPR system offers reliable protection against particles, vapors, and gases, while also providing a high level of wearing comfort.
Head Pieces—

For applications requiring ANSI approved head protection, Dräger offers two Z89.1 helmet with appropriate shrouds. Depending on the application and hazards present, the shrouds are made either of fire-resistant Zytec or chemical-resistant Tychem®.
When head protection is desired, but ANSI rated helmets are not required, a bump cap is offered with our Tychem® shrouds.
Hoods—

Our Premium Hood and Standard Hood head pieces are used in areas where ANSI approved head and eye protection are not mandated by regulations, but are necessary for the application. Whether used in pharmaceutical, chemical, or healthcare applications, these hoods provide both protection from many airborne hazards and comfort.
Filters—

The Dräger X-plore® 8000 filter series offers various filter types and offers protection against particles, gases, and vapors.
Carrying Systems—

Dräger’s unique harness and comfort pad offer premium comfort, especially in applications requiring wearing APR for extended periods of time.
Accessories—

Dräger has a wide range of accessories required for certain applications. This includes a special belt where frequent decontamination is required, a welding belt and hose protective cover, and belt extension.
