The anestheisa machine set-up can be tailored to your specific needs and upgraded easily later, if desired. This results in the ability to have the same anesthesia machine with a unified user interface in all rooms, thus reducing the need to continuously re-train staff (learn-one-know-all) and the efforts for biomeds and anesthesia technicians to manage the fleet.

Perioperative lung-protective ventilation approaches have been demonstrated to reduce the risk for postoperative pulmonary complications. Atlan offers numerous features to support anesthesia care providers to protect the patient’s lungs during surgery. Among others, ICU-like ventilation performance comes as a standard, including precise tidal volume delivery (even independent from fresh-gas flow), active PEEP and high trigger sensitivity for spontaneous breathing. Atlan also supports the efficient application of low- and minimal-flow anesthesia. Through its Low Flow Wizard, the Atlan makes the user aware of fresh-gas flow deficits and surpluses, which can lead to reduced anesthetic agent usage and costs. Moreover, it provides a very leak-tight breathing system as well as a sample-gas recirculation function to further reduce waste. Last but not least, Atlan comes with a heated breathing system designed to prevent condensation.
