Dräger PointGard 3100 Toxic Gases and Oxygen Detectors
The PointGard 3100 in a yellow / red alarm scheme. With this combination, a pre-alarm as well as a main alarm can be easily distinguished.
The PointGard 3100 in a green / red alarm scheme. This combination differentiates between a safe condition and a hazardous condition. In addition, the PointGard 3100 can express through the green lamp whether your machine under inspection is issuing a fault.
The versatility of the PointGard 3100 is high. Many different gases can be measured. If these are to be represented by different colors, then the PointGard 3100 offers blue in addition to the yellow, green and red lamp.
The PointGard 3100 allows you to graphically display the concentration trend over the last 15 minutes. This can help you to draw conclusions whether the measured value will continue to rise / fall or whether there are short-term peaks. The concentration curve can help you to further analyze your application and to improve weak points.
The vitality of the sensor is displayed with the help of a dongle. The vitality describes the consumption or the sensitivity of your sensor in contrast to its production value. Thus you have a good indication of the condition of your sensor and can act with foresight.

Accessories

Remote Sensor EC
Remote Sensor EC
With the EC Sensing Head Remote, the sensor can be installed up to 30 metres away from the Polytron in a separate compact housing. The separate sensor housing with included field cable is intrinsically safe, which makes installation considerably easier and more flexible. This means that it is not necessary to search for a suitable cable and the sensor’s position can even be adjusted within an Ex zone later on.
Splash Guard
Splash Guard
The Splash guard protects the sensor against water splashes and dirt.

Software

Dräger Polysoft software
Dräger Polysoft software
The optional Dräger Polysoft Windows® software is used for configuration, firmware upgrades, diagnostics and downloading the Polytron's built in datalogger – all from the comfort of your control room – using the digital HART® signal that rides on top of the analog 4 to 20 mA signal. Out in the field, an available non-intrusive IR dongle easily connects Polytron to Polysoft.
