Cal/OSHA Update
California's Occupational Safety and Health Standards Board has adopted a permanent standard to protect workers from silica exposure, effective December 19, 2024. This regulation builds on a temporary standard from December 2023 and targets high-exposure tasks like cutting, grinding, polishing, and cleanup of artificial stone products. It mandates N95 respirators for lower exposure levels, half-face or full-face respirators with P100 filters for higher exposure, and PAPRs or SARs for very high exposure levels. Draeger offers solutions for all exposure levels, including the X-plore 8000 PAPR, which provides an APF of 1000 and various headpiece options. PAPR Systems
Powered Air Purifying Respirators are battery operated devices drawing in the ambient air and passing it through a filter into the headpiece - leading to virtually no breathing resistance. These respirators can be worn for longer periods of time and enable the user to breathe freely during demanding tasks. There are various filters and headpieces to choose from, to compile your respiratory protection system.
Self Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA)
Isolation devices provide reliable breathing protection on work sites where hazardous substances may exist, or with low oxygen level. Our light compressed-air breathing apparatuses are suitable for short periods of use and even as rescue device in emergencies. For long-term use e.g. fire fighters can choose from wide range of components for SCBA's.
Hazmat Suits
The Dräger CPS 5900 provides excellent protection against a broad range of industrial chemicals as well as warfare agents. Specifically designed for low risk operations, it can be used in a variety of applications such as when taking measurements or transferring hazardous substances in non-explosive atmospheres.

Rescue and Escape Solutions
Life-threatening situations can occur in seconds - be it a sudden occurrence of dangerous gases or fires. Dräger offers you a broad range of rescue and escape devices - from filtering escape devices, such as escape hoods, to compressed air escape devices and oxygen self rescuers. Dräger also offers rescue packs for firefighters to support the rescue of people from dangerous situations.
