While completing my Bachelor of Human Resources in 2015, I joined Dräger on a 12-month placement as a HR Assistant. After graduating, I stayed with the team and my role has continuously evolved.

In 2018, I was promoted to Payroll/HR Officer where I have taken on the ownership of the Payroll function of Australia and New Zealand.

I enjoy working at Dräger because I take pride in knowing our products make a difference. If an event happens, and our equipment is being sent to a customer to help someone, it reminds me that my day –to-day job has a greater purpose.

I stay motivated because I am learning something new every day - whenever I think I know everything there is to know about my position and Dräger, something new comes along which motivates me.

Robert Kaye

After working in the Royal New Zealand Navy, I joined Dräger NZ Interlock at the Auckland workshop in November 2012.


I initially spent time with the wider service team in both Gas Detection and Breathing Apparatus and in 2014 the opportunity arose to move to the regions.  While it was a steep learning curve, on reflection the most enjoyable part has been the people; the customers I get to meet and my colleagues.


I keep myself motivated and energised by having a customer driven focus, and a supportive partner. I enjoy the variety of customer sites and appreciate the importance they have in our society; from food & beverage, resource industries to district hospitals. 

Joe Reilly

After completing my Engineering Degree in the UK in 2005 I worked in a field service role and later as a Biomedical Engineer at Dräger.


I joined Dräger in N.S.W. in 2010 as a Field Service Engineer in the medical division. Still finding my feet in a new country, the role gave me a fantastic opportunity to not only develop my skills as an Engineer but also gave me an insight into the diverse customer bases across the Sydney metro and regional N.S.W. sites.


As I gained further experience, I took on the opportunity of the N.S.W. Service Team Leader and later the N.S.W. Service Manager. After roughly 3 years in the role I got a taste for sales, so when an opening became available to take on an account management role and later a sales management role, I jumped at it.


In recent times the role has evolved into a regional role where I am responsible for both sales and service operations, allowing me to combine all aspects of my career experience to mentor, coach, develop and direct the team.


Working for Dräger with its strong corporate philosophy and responsibly reminds me that the work I do every day is making a difference and that is something that I am proud of. Our customers and team approach are what motivates me and with new innovative solutions being released we are constantly learning new skills. It is very satisfying when a customer provides us with a problem and we can resolve that problem through our array of solutions and services.

Caine Ritchie

I began my journey with Dräger in 2017 as an Interlock Technician and from there I moved into a Service Technician role at the Brisbane workshop. In 2019, I was appointed to my current position as the Lead Workshop Technician where I am responsible for servicing and maintaining safety equipment for a diverse range of clients across Queensland.


What I enjoy most about being a part of Dräger is the opportunity for development and progression, and the ability to acquire new knowledge and skills whilst working in an inclusive and supportive environment. 


I keep myself motivated and energised in my professional life by developing strong and respectful connections with my colleagues, which enable us to work effectively as a team. 

Natalie Murphy

My Dräger journey started in 2015, in an Industry Based Learning position whilst studying at Swinburne University.  This saw me working at the national service workshop on the medical side of the business as a Trainee-Service Engineer. During this time, I was given the opportunity to travel and work in W.A. and NZ where I was part of Dräger’s biggest monitoring installation in the Southern hemisphere.


I continued working at Dräger while I completed my honours and then moved to N.S.W. where I transitioned into the position as a Service Team Leader and then onto Service Manager for N.S.W. and ACT. From there I moved back home to Melbourne and eventually into my current role of Account Manager.


Working for Dräger has opened a bounty of opportunities for me to grow, learn and develop. It is an organisation whom look after their employees and empower them to grow, which reflects in the brand reputation we proudly have.


What motivates me is the diversity of work, opportunities to grow and being in an environment where leadership is encouraged; not to mention the feel-good aspect of working for Dräger where technology is used to help support and maintain quality life.

Ram Binesh

In 2014, I started working as a Finance Officer for Dräger in Melbourne’s Head Office. I then moved to the credit control department and started working with various departments and customers to improve the working capital for the business. I then progressed into the position of Accounts Receivable Supervisor where I was a Key User in SAP implementation for AR and later promoted in 2019 where I was given the responsibility of managing the Accounts Payable Team.


My current role oversees all functions of Accounts Receivable/ Debt Collection and Accounts Payable with a focus on understanding customer needs and maintaining a healthy working capital contribution for the business.


My greatest achievement has been receiving 2 awards from the Managing Director. One was for Dräger Value Add contribution and the other for Supreme Support.


What I enjoy most about my role is the diversity and opportunities for career progression.


I keep myself motivated by being faced with new challenges and continuous learning opportunities.
