X-plore every challenge with Dräger FFP masks
—Dräger disposable half mask respirators—also known as Filtering Facepieces (FFP)—offer reliable fit and effective protection against dust, particles, and aerosols. Available in FFP1, FFP2, and FFP3* protection classes, these dust masks combine high-performance filtration with low breathing resistance and exceptional comfort. Choose from our moulded, folded and three-part designs, with optional exhalation valves for added comfort.
*FFP3 is not approved under AS/NZS 1716:2012 standard.

X-plore 1900 Series
The three-part folded FFP mask features a highly flexible fit which leads to an effective face seal and a high level of comfort. Available in two sizes the X-plore 1900 series is particularly easy to face-fit to many varying individual face shapes and head sizes.
• Colour coded - FFP1, FFP2 or FFP3
• with optional exhalation valve
• sizes S or M/L

X-plore 1700 Series
A fold-flat FFP mask with a sturdy and space-saving design for easy transport. The X-plore 1700 series is easy to don and doff and comes in hygienic single use packaging.
• Colour coded - FFP1, FFP2 or FFP3
• with optional exhalation valve
• optional odour-stopping version

X-plore 1300 Series
A moulded FFP mask featuring a large internal volume for easy breathing and unrestricted communication. The X-plore 1300 series excels in durability even in tough environments and is particularly easy to don thanks to its preformed shape.
• Colour coded FFP1, FFP2 or FFP3
• with optional exhalation valve
• optional odour-stopping version
• sizes S/M or M/L for X-plore 1330
Benefits of Dräger FFP masks
—Safety
Advanced filter materials and adjustable nose clip for reliable respiratory protection.
Comfort
Low breathing resistance and optional exhalation valve to minimise heat and moisture build-up.
Easy of use
Head-loop straps for easy donning and doffing and easily recognisable colour-coded labelling of EN protection classes on the mask.
Fit and size
Different sizes and models simplify face-fit testing and ensure a secure face-seal for a wide range of face and head shapes.
FFP dust masks for all applications
—All our certified disposable FFP masks offer reliable breathing protection when working with fine dust, particles and aerosols.

Laboratory & Health Care
FFP masks offer reliable protection against droplets and aerosols and therefore many pathogens including viruses, bacteria and fungal spores.

Construction & Civil Engineering
In construction and mining operations, FFPs are vital to protect against respiratory hazards caused by, for example, silica dust in concrete, mortar and sandstone, wood dust, and general dust from gypsum and marble.

Crafts & Trades
Tasks like sanding, grinding or cutting require reliable protection against wood dust, metal or fibreglass particles for both professional tradesment and DIY enthusiasts.

Maintenance
FFPs help to reduce the risk of exposure to harmful dusts and particles during routine tasks like maintenance and cleaning operations.

FFP mask ratings explained
—Particle-filtering respiratory protection and the use of filtering facepieces (FFPs) are categorised according to their respective protection factor. The protection level, FFP1, FFP2, FFP3 according to the EN standard or N95 according to the NIOSH standard, indicates how high the concentration of harmful substances can be without posing a health risk to the user. The higher the contaminant concentration, the higher the recommended protection level for the FFP mask. Find out more about the FFP protection classes in this section:
What is the difference between a FFP2, N95 and KN95 mask?
'FFP2', 'KN95' and 'N95' are protection classes for particle filtering half masks approved in different countries. A comparison of the contents of the respective approvals shows both similarities and differences. For example, N95 and KN95 masks only cover testing of the FFP material for possible leaks. FFP2 masks on the other hand are also tested on human subjects. The following table provides a good overview of these three protection classes:
FFP2 | N95 | KN95 | |
Standard | 42 CFR Part 84 | GB2626-2006 | |
Geographic scope | Europe | USA | China |
Particle filtration performance | ≥ 94 % | ≥ 95 % | ≥ 95 % |
Test Aerosol | Sodium chloride & liquid paraffin | Sodium chloride | Sodium chloride |
Volume flow | 95 L/min | 85 L/min | 85 L/min |
Inward leakage | ≤ 8 % | - | ≤ 8 % |
Measurement of leakage | Total Inward Leakage (TIL)3 | Material leakage only | Material leakage only |
Inhalation resistance | ab 30 L/min: ≤ 70 Pa ab 95 L/min: ≤ 240 Pa | ≤ 343 Pa | ≤ 350 Pa |
Exhalation resistance | ≤ 300 Pa | ≤ 343 Pa | ≤ 250 Pa |
3 measurement process also includes among others the fit of the mask on real-life test subjects
