Interlock Installation, Rental and Service Pricing—
Installation starting from *Basic vehicle: $180 (Full rate), $117 (Concession)
First two months rental: $270 (Full rate), $175.50 (Concession)
Bi-monthly rental and service fees: $325 (Full rate), $211.25 (Concession)
* Vehicle Categories for Installation Fees
Fees may vary according to the make, model and year of your vehicle
• Basic – Vehicles up to 1999 and key start
• Standard – Vehicles 2000 – 2015 and key start
• Complex – Vehicles from 2016 onwards, and/or hybrid / electric / push-button / stop-start / motorcycles (incl. scooter)
An authorised agent will provide a detailed quote, including labour costs, based on your vehicle’s specifications.
Interlock Service Frequency
As part of the New South Wales Alcohol Interlock Program, bi-monthly servicing of the device is required. This includes a system check and data download.
Concession Eligibility—
Participants with the following cards are entitled to a 35% discount on installation, rental, service and removal fees:
• Health Care Card (maximum rate)
• Centrelink Pensioner Concession Card
• Veterans Affairs Gold Cards (TPI, EDA, War Widow or War Widower)
Please note that the concession card must be current and issued in your name as the primary card holder.

Installation Day Checklist—
Please bring the following documents to the installation appointment:
• Letter advising of the interlock participation period (Disqualification Suspension Order)
• Interlock Installation Certificate (Transport for NSW)
• Proof of concession (if applicable)
• Proof of eligibility for Government Financial Assistance (if applicable)
If you are not the registered operator of the vehicle, you must gain consent from the registered owner to have the Dräger Interlock device installed.
