*Depending on the complexity of the vehicle wiring, additional hourly labour fees may apply. An Authorised Interlock Agent will provide a detailed quote at the time of booking.
Interlock service frequency
As part of the Queensland Alcohol Ignition Interlock Program, the device requires an initial service after the first month of rental. Following that, it must be serviced every three months. This includes a system check and data download.
Concession eligibility
—Participants with the following cards are entitled to a 35% discount on the installation, rental, service and removal fees:
• Health Care Card
• Centrelink Pensioner Concession Card
Please note that the concession card must be current and issued in your name as the primary card holder. You will also need to bring your most recent Centrelink income statement to verify your eligibility.
Installation day checklist
—Please bring the following documents to the installation appointment:
- A letter from the Department of Transport and Main Roads advising participation in the Performance-Based Program OR driver’s licence receipt with “I” condition OR driver’s licence with “I” condition (if “I” condition has been verified by TMR)
- Proof of concession (if applicable)
- Proof of eligibility for Government Financial Assistance (if applicable)
If you are not the registered operator of the vehicle, you must gain consent from the registered owner to have the Dräger Interlock device installed.
