Coming Together for a Heartwarming Cause

The Dräger India team gathered in Mumbai for a meaningful and impactful CSR event with Rise Against Hunger India. Together, our colleagues packed 10,152 nutrient-rich meals to support underprivileged children in rural communities—contributing to better nutrition and improved learning outcomes.

This was more than a CSR activity—it was a powerful expression of our mission to “create technology for life” that extends beyond our medical innovations and come alive through our people, our partnerships, and our passion to give back.

Extending Our Impact: Nourish the Future

Our partnership also supports Rise Against Hunger India’s “Nourish the Future” initiative—a maternal and child health and nutrition program operating over 50 Community Kitchen Centres across districts in Odisha, Bihar, Jharkhand, and Chhattisgarh. These centres support in improving maternal nutrition, encouraging institutional deliveries, and empowering women to take ownership of their community’s wellbeing.

These include:

▪  Daily nutritious meals for pregnant and lactating women using fortified kits and local produce

▪  Health monitoring and growth tracking for mothers and children

▪  Peer-led operations by women in the community

▪  Access to public healthcare services and nutrition education

Together, these efforts are creating a safety net for maternal and child wellbeing, led by the very communities they serve.
