Water collecting inside the circuit is often an issue with heated and humidified air. The flexible, breathable hose minimizes internal condensation. The HI-Flow Star valve kit includes a pressure relief valve and a humidifier chamber connector. The preset pressure relief valve is used to prevent the system pressure becoming too high. The valve kit can be used for high-flow therapy in adults (optional).Patient comfort is a central issue with any interface. To be effective, it must be worn continuously for hours at a time. The headgear is constructed of soft, lightweight materials that holds the interface firmly yet comfortably in place. It can be freely adjusted to provide an exact fit.The nostril is a very sensitive area.
