Uses Bispectral Index® (BIS) technology measure the effects of sedation
The Infinity® BISx® SmartPod® incorporates BISx smart technology into Infinity patient monitors. The Bispectral Index® (BIS), a processed EEG parameter, can indicate the effects of sedation on the brain. The BISx pod allows you to measure BIS index, Signal Quality Index, Burst Suppression Ratio, Electromyography (EMG), Total Power, Spectral Edge Frequency, and Burst Count. One EEG waveform can be displayed.

The pod easily interfaces to Infinity Delta, Delta XL, and Gamma X XL monitors via a standard pod communication channel. ​

Supports patient care in the OR, ICU and more

Incorporating the extended platform (XP) technology from Aspect Medical Systems, the Infinity BISx SmartPod provides sustained, reliable BIS measurement in the OR, ICU and other clinical settings.
