​No matter how tough the conditions, the X-plore 8000 system from Dräger provides maximum respiratory protection without increased breathing resistance, even during long periods of time. Depending on the system configuration, it can also offer protection for the head, face including eyes, and hearing.

The system consists of either an X-plore 8500 or 8700 powered air-purifying respirator for applications dependent on the ambient air or the X-plore 9300 compressed air line system for working with an independent air supply. Both are combined with a headpiece such as an X-plore 8000 helmet, visor, hood or X-plore mask (X-plore 9300: only for loose fitting headpieces).

​Dräger X-plore 8000 hood series offers the highest level of safety. Along with the X-plore 8500/8700 Powered Air-Purifying Respirator, they fulfil the requirements of the TH3 protection class. In combination with the X-plore 9300 compressed air line system, they are rated device class 3B. In addition, the hoods are extremely light, making them very comfortable, even during longer use. And the hose connection's intelligent air distribution makes them extremely comfortable, as it prevents cold feeling at a single spot.

You have a choice of two sizes to ensure a perfect fit. The hoods are also available as a standard design or as a premium model, each in short or long versions. So, you can always find the right solution for the job.
