Dräger Safety India is proud to announce a successful collaboration of its recent Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Initiative aimed at supporting survivors of domestic and interpersonal violence. This initiative, held in collaboration with The International Foundation for Crime Prevention and Victim Care (PCVC), underscores our Commitment to protecting supporting and saving lives.

PCVC’s overarching goal is to provide psychosocial support and meet, practical essential needs of survivors and their children. Supporting them to pave a way to a life free of violence and inequality. To this end, PCVC has implemented various kinds of interventions and projects, which is a holistic approach towards achieving the goal of the organization. Dräger Safety India extends its support to the following initiatives:

• Dhwani: 24/7 crisis support service (National Domestic Violence Hotline): A crisis helpline that provides women in distress and violent situations in their homes, on phone/ in person psychosocial counselling, emergency shelter, legal support and more.
• Emergency shelter support for survivors of domestic violence/ interpersonal violence. Helping survivors leave abusive situations and transporting them to shelters that offer a safe space, away from threats to their lives and further violence.

Joint commitment towards safety and empowerment 

At Dräger Safety India, safety is more than just a responsibility, it is a commitment we uphold every day to ensure people live with dignity and security. Whether through our solutions or community initiatives, we firmly believe that every individual deserves to live free from harm and have access to the support required to rebuild their lives free from harm and with access to the support required to rebuild their lives. 

Through an impactful collaboration with PCVC, we aim to support in providing comprehensive psychosocial and physical crisis support interventions. The empowerment-based Crisis Support Services addresses physical and emotional trauma in women & LGBTQI survivors. Enabling them to make informed decisions to combat the violence.

During a get-together, we shared our commitment to protecting, supporting and saving lives. The CEO Asia-Pacific, Shalin Patel says, "Hearing your stories of resilience and courage reinforces our belief that real change happens when organizations, communities and authorities collaborate with a shared vision." Emphasizing on our commitment to not just contributing financially, but also deeply engaging in impactful partnerships with organizations like PCVC and the relevant authorities that make these initiatives possible.
