Water collecting inside the circuit is often an issue with heated and humidified air. The flexible, breathable hose minimizes internal condensation. The HI-Flow Star valve kit includes a pressure relief valve and a humidifier chamber connector. The preset pressure relief valve is used to prevent the system pressure becoming too high. The valve kit can be used for high-flow therapy in adults (optional).Patient comfort is a central issue with any interface. To be effective, it must be worn continuously for hours at a time. The headgear is constructed of soft, lightweight materials that holds the interface firmly yet comfortably in place. It can be freely adjusted to provide an exact fit.The nostril is a very sensitive area. The unique design and soft materials used in the nasal prongs help to reduce skin lesions and enhance patient comfort.Thanks to its symmetrical design, the nasal cannula can be connected from either the left or the right side of the bed.
