One thing is of highest importance wherever gases are monitored on a daily basis. When an alarm occurs, the responsible safety personnel and all other co-workers have to be informed immediately. They need to know about the possible threat from a gas leakage or other critical incidents. Not only in the control centre but also on site.
Often gas transmitters are installed in areas that are difficult to access or the distance between two transmitters is large. But the measurement and control technician must still be able to access the information from the transmitters. During commissioning the responsible personnel also has to ensure that the transmitter information is correctly transferred to the controller.
The range of functions or the size of your gas detection system is out of date? Then you need a solution that can either grow with the plant or can be updated flexibly. Ideally, you don’t have to stop the production process or shut down a whole unit for an extended period of time – but only to install the necessary new components.
Monitoring different gases is one of the daily tasks in your industrial plant? When you already have several stand-alone gas detection systems, a central overview of all systems would be beneficial for the responsible safety personnel and the staff on site. Not only does it save time and money to control and configure all single systems from one central point, it’s also an investment in higher safety.
When purchasing a new gas detection system, one of the first and basic questions will be where to place it. Do you already have a control cabinet for your production control system? Then it makes sense to integrate the new gas warning system there as well. When you can’t integrate it in existing structures, a device with compact and attractive design is preferable. A solution that fits well into your existing space.

Highlights

Monitor various gases and vapours with the modular Dräger REGARD® 3000 control system. Its multi-coloured status light signals the status of your gas detection system. The controller allows you to combine three different modules: Input, Relay and Gateway module. You can connect up to four analogue transmitters and eight relays in combination.

Especially well visible and audible from a distance

In the event of an alarm, every second counts - but it is also useful to be able to see the status of the gas detection system at a glance. The Dräger REGARD 3000 makes this possible with its status light. Different colours clearly indicate whether  More information

Access the gas warning system more centrally

Often gas transmitters are installed in areas that are difficult to access or are far away from each other and the associated control unit. The REGARD 3000's 4 – 20 mA HART® input module gives you central access to all diagnostic information in the  More information

Flexible options for expansion

If the range of functions or the size of the gas detection system changes: The REGARD 3000 can be expanded by an additional relay or gateway module, depending on the requirements. This way, the system remains flexible and grows with the plant withou More information

Networking individual systems with each other

Do you have several gas detection systems with REGARD 3000 and REGARD 7000? You would like to have all systems in view and control and configure them centrally? Then connect the REGARD 7000 as client to the REGARD 3000 systems via an Ethernet cable  More information

Flexible options for mounting

You already have a control cabinet or control station for your production process control system and would like to integrate the gas warning system there? Or you need a small gas detection system that can be easily integrated into your building? Wit More information
