Unstoppable is when firefighters and their command can share and access the available information easily. Their decisions will be better, their safety higher and their work more efficient. To equip them with this technology, we created our automatic accountability system: Dräger FireGround.

PSS AirBoss Connect

The PSS® AirBoss Connect is equipped with several sensors for monitoring cylinder pressure, firefighter motion and heat exposure. When critical limits are reached, the users and other firefighters around them are warned by acoustic and visual signals. All this information is transmitted in real time to the FireGround App.

FireGround App

FireGround displays sensor-driven SCBA data and alerts as well as manual distress signals from the SCBA on a tablet in real time. Its’ intuitive user interface makes it easy-to-learn for any firefighter on the scene. In addition to automatically generated data, the operator can also add comments, drawings, photos, videos, and audio files.

Continuous status update

To help you concentrate on your duties, we engineered a continuous status update between PSS® AirBoss Connect and Dräger FireGround. This reduces the need for verbal status updates, thus leaving tactical radio for crucial incident communication.

Auto-Log on

A continuous status update is automatically initiated when opening the cylinder valve of your SCBA. All PSS® AirBoss Connect users are logged on before entering.
