Always visible
Large reflective surfaces improve the firefighters’ visibility no matter if the SCBA is activated or not. Even better: The Dräger PSS® AirBoss can be equipped with buddy lights – Hi-Viz LEDs – that illuminate the firefighter even in smoke-filled environments. The displayed LED colour also indicates the remaining cylinder pressure and activated alerts to the wearer and surrounding firefighters.
Auto-Activated PASS
The Dräger PSS® AirBoss Agile and PSS AirBoss Connect are equipped with integrated PASS devices. These are automatically activated upon opening the cylinder – so the activation cannot be forgotten.
Draws attention if needed
The Dräger PSS® AirBoss’ PASS devices draw attention to firefighters in distress by generating distinctive visual and acoustic alert signals – e. g. when motionless, when reaching low-air, experiencing high thermal stress or activating the manual distress signal.
Less chance of getting trapped
Minimised risk of snagging due to integrated hose channels and multi-attachment points instead of webbing. Our unique multi-attachment points easily allow various accessories and additional equipment to be mounted on the SCBA – such as our Dräger Parat® 5550 escape hood.
