A plus in safety
Daily testing of high quantities of sensors can be time-consuming and sometimes not feasible. The daily function test of the Dräger SensorAlive, with test gas from the integrated gas generator, is your plus in safety. If excessive deviations occur during the check, corresponding information or a warning is given. In addition, the Dräger SensorAlive is also checked daily for possible clogging of the gas inlet. During the test, which lasts a maximum of 15 minutes, the measurement performance of the sensor and the associated gas warning function are still active.
The sensitivity and expected sensor life are also monitored when the sensor diagnostic functions are activated through a diagnostic dongle.
Less service effort
Every day, the Dräger SensorAlive automatically performs a function test with test gas and a check for possible clogging of the gas inlet. Since these no longer have to be done manually, your service effort can be minimised. This benefit is particularly noticeable when the measuring points are far away or difficult to reach. Even if this is not the case, you will not need to stockpile test gas or equipment in the future. |
Proven measuring technology
Together with the Dräger Polytron 8100 transmitter, you have access to proven measurement technology with the Dräger SensorAlive. Fast response, high accuracy, high stability and long service life: The Dräger SensorAlive also offers you these properties familiar from the electrochemical DrägerSensors. It uses the proven and established principle of intrinsic safety for electrical explosion protection, like all DrägerSensor® type electrochemical sensors, along with approval for use in Zone 1 in conjunction with the Polytron 8100. With the Dräger SensorAlive, you have without the familiar plug-and-play use thanks to built-in electronic intelligence and pre-calibration, including the remote versions of the device.
