Four concentration alarms and four average alarms can be programmed on a freely selectable time base for each connected transmitter. If a gas alarm is detected, visual, audible and electrical indicators are activated so that suitable action may be taken.

VarioGard Transmitters, VarioGard Relay Modules, VarioGard Converter Modules and VarioGard Battery Modules can all be selected in the quantity required, enabling the VarioGard system to be configured and programmed to meet the users exact specifications. The three-wire digital bus cable for connecting the individual modules can be up to 1100m long.

The device is configured using six keys and a two-line display. The equipment comprises a three-color LED [standard operation (green), warning (yellow) or alarm (red)], a built-in audible alarm, and five programmable relays.
