Since our medical technology requires high-performance materials, in many of the countries we work in, we take back almost all of our products and thus promote a 'circular' economy. By doing this, we create a useful longer lasting life for our products.

36% of our contracted medical devices are older than 10 years. Studies specified ten years as the lifespan of medical equipment, but in fact, the status of the medical equipment defines its age.

Through preventive maintenance we achieve more longevity of products, plus, we support disposal with recycling passes as well as material lists, sketches and dismantling recommendations - in accordance with WEEE Directive 2012/19/EU.
