About the Speaker:

Mr. Michael Bender

Michael Bender is a trained nurse for intensive care and anesthesia and has a bachelor degree for hospital business management. From 1996 to 2000 he has been leading the nursing department in the hospital of Mainz, Germany where he was heading the cardiac ICU. He has also been an active paramedic since 1979. He has acquired PHTLS and AMLS certification and flew for two years for the German air rescue. He joined Draeger in 2000 and has been a clinical specialist for respiratory care ever since. Michael is still active as a paramedic and works both on ambulances and emergency response cars.
