Cold storage
Almost all food and beverages pass through a refrigeration facility before reaching the final consumer. Toxic gases such as ammonia or carbon dioxide can occur in the refrigeration/cooling process.

Dräger Polytron 3000
The Dräger Polytron 3000 is an intrinsically safe gas detector for the continuous monitoring of toxic gases and oxygen in ambient air. It is the part of a new generation of gas detectors developed on a modular platform. Communication to the central control system is done via a 4 to 20 mA signal.
Confined Space Entry
Confined and enclosed space operations have a greater likelihood of causing fatalities than any other type of work. A typical confined space is a storage tank for example. Before entering and during operation in these tanks, the workers must be sure that no toxic substances are present.
